• Outside each house we provide patio / garden furniture

• There is car parking space next to each property

• Gas and charcoal barbecues are available for use (subject to availability)

• In each house we provide a small quantity of washing-up liquid, washing powder, dishwasher tablets, toilet paper, instant coffee, sugar and tea bags for your arrival

• A 130KVA, 3 phase generator serves all houses in case of power failure

• All cottages have Freeview digital television

Luxuries

A local chef can cater for special occasions & dinner parties in your cottage; please contact Craig Shippen on 01684 773032.

Map room

The map room provides information leaflets on local attractions and places to visit, town maps and walking routes and  maps as well as broadband internet, email and fax facilities.

Gardens

Our five acres of gardens and orchard are set away from the road. There is plenty of room for children to play in safety and without disturbing other guests. We provide a badminton net on the lawn and a croquet set. In season pick apples, pears, cherries & plums from our orchard.

Facilities for the younger visitor

We have a play area and a two storey heated playhouse (Victoria House) with resident teddy bear Mr T Bear. Victoria House is fully furnished with play kitchen, gallery bedroom, toys, dolls' house and secret door. Outside Victoria House why not try out the swings, trampoline, see-saw, climbing frame, mini basketball net and slide in the play area?

Children under 18 months swim free of charge in the swimming pools. We provide a range of ride-on inflatables, floats and balls for use during your swimming sessions. Pool two has a large pool side seating area and giant table-top chess and draughts. Both pools have baby changing mats and play pens.

Each house has plastic cutlery, beakers and tableware for younger diners. Cots (guests are requested to supply their own cot bedding), stair gates & highchairs can be provided free of charge subject to availability.
